Continuing for 2025, if you purchase a pig in a Murray State University sale and hang a banner at the local, state, or national level, the Murray State Swine Club will reward you with buyer credits for use in future Murray State Show Pig Sales or semen purchases. Credits will be awarded according to the following outline:

State-sanctioned Shows/ State Fairs, Regional/National NJSA Sanctioned Shows

Grand Champion Overall: $1,000

Res.Champion Overall: $500

Division Champion: $300

Breed Champion: $300

Class Winner: $100

Regional Livestock Expos, Jackpot/Preview Shows

Grand Champion Overall: $250

Res. Champion Overall: $150

Breed Champion: $100

Criteria

Credits will be awards for, and may be used to purchase ANY pigs consigned to Murray State Sales.
Credits may be used for the purchase of semen. See www.murraystateswineclub.org/boar-stud for selection and pricing.
Credits may NOT be used to purchase Murray State bred pigs consigned to other sales.
In order to receive credit, the exhibitor must provide a picture from the show (backdrop or show ring) as well as contact information for show personnel so we can verify the results.
The Rewards Program applies to youth shows only. The program is not applicable for open shows or any non-youth shows, even if the exhibitor is a youth. Example: an exhibitor showing in an NJSA event qualifies, but the same exhibitor showing in an NSR event does not qualify.
Pigs bred by other breeders and consigned to Murray State's Sale ARE eligible for credit.

Credit must be used within 15 months of purchase date.
